Brickworth Quarry Community Matters

Community Matters
The Raymond Brown Community Matters initiative sees us providing and supporting industry learning opportunities within the communities in which we work.  As part of our Community Matters Initiative, Raymond Brown has created a local partnership with nearby Whiteparish All Saints Primary School and Alderbury & West Grimstead Primary School.  All of the schools have designed cabs for our lorries and subsequently have a lorry in their name.

Brickworth Quarry Liaison Committee
We have established a local liaison group for Brickworth Quarry with local representatives and statutory authorities who meet on a regular basis at the Whiteparish Village Hall.

Vehicle Movements
To minimise the impacts of our operations on the local community, we have agreed a longstanding arrangement that the lorry drivers may not drive through the village of Whiteparish.

Open Days
We held a successful community open day at Brickworth Quarry on 21 June 2018.  A news release on the event can be found by clicking here.

Gifting & Donations
Brickworth Quarry has a Gifting and Donations budget which is used to offer support to the local community surrounding quarry, and can be in the form of financial contributions, product or service donations or corporate volunteering.  We sponsor the local Whiteparish Memorial Hall and support other events within the community, such as the Whiteparish fete and fireworks event.

If you feel that you may benefit from either our Community Matters initiative or if you are local to Brickworth Quarry and would like to submit a request for a financial, product or service donation then please email enquiries@raymondbrown.co.uk
