Weighbridge Operator (Brickworth Quarry)

Raymond Brown Quarry Products Limited are currently seeking to appoint a full time Weighbridge Operator to take responsibility for the weighbridge at Brickworth Quarry, Whiteparish.

The key requirements of the role are to:

• Be responsible for the weighbridge and its associated systems.
• Ensure accurate records are kept of all site activities.
• Be responsible for processing all vehicles in and out of site using a computerised weighbridge system.
• Handle cash sales and deal with telephone enquiries.
• Carry out general administration.
• Provide cover and support to Raymond Brown’s other quarries.
• Ensure all works are carried out efficiently in a safe manner and as directed by the Quarry Manager.
• Comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

The role will involve communication at all levels from senior management to operatives and with external customers and stakeholders; therefore, an ability to adapt and build relationships is essential. Candidates will always need to be professional, flexible, reliable and enthusiastic. Previous experience of working within the sector would be an advantage.
